I hate to do this, as I've been on the board a LOOOONG time (check my reg date!), but I just gotta ask...

I've had my verizon 6700 for years, and bluetooth tethering is a breeze.

I just ordered a sprint ppc6800 with a SERO program, gonna update to the new ROM (if it is not preinstalled).

I mostly use wifi w/ my laptop, but would like to use the phone as BT tether as backup (I use it this way maybe once or twice a month, at most).

I've read this entire thread (ICS, PDAnet, etc) and am still lost.



Can anyone give me the "cliff's notes" answer to this question? What is the easiest way to do a BT tether between my PPC6800 and laptop without paying for PAM (or being charged for massive data charges)?
