Unless I'm reading this entire thread wrong, there seem to be two schools of thought regarding this issue. On one hand, the solution is to download and install TCPMP and the bundle. On the other hand, to use the HTC video streamer as the solution (mentioned above).
For me, I downloaded and installed TCPMP, the bundle, and the FLV plug-in on the root directory of my memory card. This made You Tube Pocket work just fine (after following all of the directions for the application settings in this thread and from the YTP website). However, I can't seem to get Google Video to work, and I haven't yet tried any other video websites on my device.
BTW, don't bother trying to ask you service provider to help. Not one single person working in the Verizon store could even tell me IF the 6800 had the capability of viewing streaming video, much less how to make it work IF it could.
I'm content right now using YTP, but I feel this is just a backdoor fix. There should be a way to view streaming video without all the hassle, from any video site. I mean, how does the IPhone do it????
Anyway, not sure why the other sites don't work, but like I said, I'm content right now with YTP... so, thanks everybody for helping out.
