The FCC has very strict limits on how much radiation cell phones can and cannot generate, and the iPhone falls well within the acceptable limits especially compared to some other PDAphones. ...
Sorry about the ipods are for kids, it was tongue and cheek. I just don't know anyone over 18 that has one. I use either my zire71 or my treo650 as a mp3 player. With the cost of the iphone, I figured you would know I meant the ipod and not the iphone as being for kids.

When I owned a Treo/Windows Mobile device, I hated having to swap out the memory cards to either listen to music or look at photos or use an app stored on one particular card. ...
well I have over 500CDs on SD cards (they are available in up to 8GB for under 40 bucks and 16gb for under 75 bucks), 1 card for each of my moods. then movies and you tube videos on another. and I have one for the name emulator that has about 800 games on it. I have about 40 GB of storage with me at all times. Plus the cards are backed up on a PC so if one fails, I burn the info on another card. That worries me about the Iphone. and the fact that you cant just pop the battery out then back in to reset the machine is a concern.

The case my treo is in holds the cards, so its no issue. I dont like the fact that the OS for the iphone burns 700MB of storage, I will admit the memory in the 650 is WAY to small, and that is why I want to remove some of the apps on it.

when I finish the custom paint job on the 650 ill post pictures.

Anyway, I am happy that you like your Treo. It works for you. ...
here is 2 videos my daughter shot with the 650 of my other "toy" as you can see I need a music source that does not skip here
here

When I checked with my friends they said they still could not use mp3 ringtones and third party apps were still blocked. If you have links to firmware updates for these they will be happy.

I have a screen protector on my iPhone for exactly the same reason....
I am sorry, I had not heard screen protectors were avalible for the iphone. I guess they learned from the sony psp disaster.

I have the adapter jack but the jack is to week for what I put it through. That is a mod I am working on, but I think im going to install the flat ant and change the 2.5 for a 3.5 on the bottom. I have re soldered the 2.5 jack 3 times.

I am here for knowledge, not a fight. but I guess my opinions can be black and white at times. For that I am sorry. Im not a palm or microshaft fanboy either. I hate most microsoft software. and own a ps3.

Still looking for the radiation clip, it was on drudge report when the iphone first came out
