I apologize that my sarcasm came through the way that it did. However, I simply disagree with your opinion that "ipods are for kids" and that you stated that "iphones expose you to 4 times the radiation as any other phone" which is simply not true. The FCC has very strict limits on how much radiation cell phones can and cannot generate, and the iPhone falls well within the acceptable limits especially compared to some other PDAphones.

The iPhone doesn't have an SD slot, but it doesn't need one, as 8GB/16GB is plenty for me... the largest SD card is 4GB right now and the extra memory can't always even be read by many older PDAphones. When I owned a Treo/Windows Mobile device, I hated having to swap out the memory cards to either listen to music or look at photos or use an app stored on one particular card.

While you are right about the total lack of MMS support on the iPhone, it isn't a deal breaker for me since I wouldn't use it anyway, and the same goes for video capture. Yes, the Treo can do those things, so go with what works for you. I can use MP3s for my ringtones and can use third party apps as well.
Anyway, I am happy that you like your Treo. It works for you.

If you said that in the first place, we wouldn't be having this discussion. But don't tell me that iPods and iPhones are for kids. That is NOT a fact, but an opinion.

I have a screen protector on my iPhone for exactly the same reason.

There is this thing called a 2.5 to 3.5 stereo adapter available at Radio Shack and most electronics stores, which is what I would use unless the 2.5 jack is trashed. However, a quick Google search found this:
Treo 650 Tips, Tricks and Hacks: Treo 650 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm Audio Jack Swap

I would much rather help you find what you need and hope that you can help someone else when they have a question. I'm glad you are so enthusiastic about your PDAphone (that's why we are all here) and would rather see you participate in a much more knowledgable way, given your experience. Pay it forward...
