In fact, I was so excited that I ordered it a month before my new every two came up (my employer reimburses me for phones.) I owned it for a week before shipping it back to Verizon. I went back to my original Motorola Q (actually the third or fourth, after all of the exchanges because of quality control problems.) My problems with the SMT5800: (1) as another poster observed, very cheap quality (2) batter life is horrible - I use my phone mainly for e-mail and was having to recharge 1/2 way through the day (3) uncomfortable to hold and use - the keyboard was topheavy when opened and, my favorite (4) the power button was placed so that the phone would randomly shut off. The only thing I really liked about the phone was the size. At this point, I'm thinking of switching carriers because Verizon just doesn't have a quality smartphone that appeals to me ..... sigh
