Follow up to my prior post- I got it working initially for a short while but tried it again the next day and it completely crashed the phone to where I almost thought it was bricked. It got completely stuck on the VZW splash screen but came to life after a 1/2 hour. Very strange.... I uninstalled and reinstalled both pieces and can't seem to get it to work now. Anyone have any success? Tempted to hard boot the device and rebuild it to see if that helps. This would be an amazing thing for me if I could get it to work right.
