Also the Cingular 8525, HTC Tilt, both got an 8.0, the VX6800 got a 7.7 while the Sprint model got a 7.3. The blackjack II got a 7.7 and so did the HTC S630(dash update). The HTC VOX S710 got an 8.0. I could go on. So there are handful of WM devices that have gotten higher than 7.3.
Then again didn't the Samsung i830 get a 6.3 which is kind of odd since it is a similar to the 730.

Good theory, possible, even probable, but not the reason they gave. I don't understand it but they said that the ratings changed because of OTHER devices that came to the market, not because of a change in the SCH-i760 no?
Yea while I was checking out the rating for the SCH-i760 I saw all of those other ones, but figured anyone could see them if they did the same thing so I'm glad you pointed that out. There was quite a few.
The i830 was kinda funny I thought for the same reason. If you look at CHas review she goes on and on about how she felt like it was not balanced that if you have it slid up it falls backwards..I have not ever tried an i830 and yea its built like an i730 so it's kinda weird that they gave the i730 an 8.3 and the i830 such a low score..but maybe because the i830 is a dual band it has more weight in the wrong places and thats what makes it difficult to type on? I dunno. Also it doesn't have WIFI where as the i730 and i760s do so that's another thing. I think what they loved about the i730 was that it had everything, and handle it pretty well enough, which is one of the reasons I love it too. IF the SGH-i760 is completely US friendly I think it has the same reach and functionality of the i730 but thinner and with upgraded features being exactly what I wanted in the first place.
