Thought I would quote this, as these problems are still here.

1. WiFi vanishes after you run the connection, and a soft reset is required to bring it back.

2. You will have to disable the WMWiFiRouter connection before you can connect to an access point, since it tries to make the ad-hoc network connection each time, so if you want to use WiFi from the device, you will need to disconnect/disable the ad-hoc network.

So this is just as alanb outlined...

After a soft reset, I need to run WMWiFiRouter twice before I can succesfully connect.

After running it, the wireless manager no longer shows WiFi.

After a soft reset the WiFi settings come back but if WiFi is turned on, the only connection is the WMWiFiRouter connection is the only one in the list. If I add a new one, it will connect, but then instantly disconnects and WMWiFirouter connection shows attmepting to connect.

If I disable it though, and go back to the WMWiFiRouter application, it connects to my new wifi connection instead of setting up the ad-hoc.

Basically, if you use this, you can't use WiFi from your phone for anything else.

I hardly ever use WiFi on it, so doesn't bother me now.
