For what it's worth, I was in a Verizon store today and started talking with a rep. He had a dummy phone on hand and let me play with it for a bit. The phone is smaller than I had expected, but surprisingly heavy. The rep didn't know where the extra heft was coming from. The sliding mechanism was nice though, very solid and stable. Looking forward to picking this up in the next few weeks.
