I've had it happen with mine too. Used to happen occasionally with my 6600 also. It usually happens when the battery started to get hot. You'll see the orange light start to blink. The best solution is to either put it on a wall charger/cradle or to turn the screen off, turn the phone face down, and take off the battery door. Alternatively, turn it off and remove the battery for a few minutes. __________________
