After getting this USB tethering operational I found I was able to use this with my bluetooth connection instead of USB. I already had this installed: http://www.winmobiletech.com/sekalaiset/WM6_BT_DUN.cab I double-clicked Bluetooth Modem in my network places and entered info from step #4 above and it connected via bluetooth. I am still concerned that VZW can somehow track this and charge me for tethering.
