I went into the the Verizon store today telling them that my i730 had finally died and threatened to switch to AT&T. My store manager made some calls for me and assured me that the 5800 is currently in testing and will be available by the end of the year. He even showed me that the 5800 was entered into their interal computer system.
I didn't like the i760 (sick of the stylus) and the Motorola Q9m is just too big. I almost bought the unlocked HTC S730 (GSM version of the 5800) and switched to AT&T to use it. Since I don't want to leave Verizon, I'm going to hold out for the 5800.
Anyone know what the best GPS software is for non-touchscreen smartphones? I understand that I need to move away from Tom Tom.
