It came down to the Libra and the i760 as my two finalists. I have now obtained the i760.
1. It has WiFi.
2. It was available

I am very happy with the i760 as it was much smaller and handier than I had anticipated. In fact, I would not want to have to deal with with a phone / PDA much smaller than this. EVDO A was not important as it mainly affects upload speeds. Email and Internet speeds are quite snappy on EVDO 0 and the i760. WiFi works great.
The Libra is one fine looking device, though.
