not to mention activesync is as slow as the phone (USB1 IIRC) whereas readers are USB2 which makes a HUGE difference when moving large files. I know this because my old card reader wont read the new sdhc card, so I have to transfer converted movies via active sync...it takes a LONG time to transfer a little 300 meg file.
