For what its worth (all be it probably not much at this point) I talked to a verizon rep at work today and asked him about the xv6800. He said there was no solid release date yet (no surprise) but he expected it to be out by the end of the month, end of the year at the latest (of course he had to throw in that extra month incase of delays). However he did say that he has played with the final version of the firmware so, if that is the case, we can all hope that the xv6800 will actually make it out by the end of the month.
