It's just easier sometimes if you're managing multiple cards and devices. My home laptop has a SD card reader built in, my car stereo plays mp3s through a USB-SDHC adapter, my wife's phone also has a SDHC card (6GB cards work in the new Chocolate even though their specs only say 4GB), and I'm thinking of getting headphones that take an SD-card directly. So it's sometimes easier to deal directly with multiple cards rather than work through ActiveStink.
