Oh I see. I am not sure that it is a hardware issue though. My 8525 before the new builds of WM6 came out did not have SDHC compatibility. I have read that MS made a driver update for SDHC which leads to me to think that it is quite fixable.
I assume the patches don't work because the microcontroller for the flash reader is different then the one HTC uses in theirs. The i760 has been in testing for a long time at Verizon and the WM6 build that is on your phones is older then what HTC using in the Hermes/Tytn/8525. Maybe someone can post something on the WM developers blog to see if someone there might be able to help. |
