Before I had the Motorola e815 and BT was solid like a rock.
And before I had XV6600 - with a lot of BT problems. Even after upgrading different BT stacks and ROMs, it never was perfect - one of the reason I dumped XV6600.
Why PDA can't have the BT implemented the right way?
I like my SCH-i760 a lot, but the BT problem is not acceptable for me.
I'm still within 30 days and thinking to try something else, but what?

I noticed the same thing. When I go into the BT settings and select my device, "Handsfree" is unchecked. However, this does not stop it from connecting the next time I get in the car. As long as you have the correct device set in the "Headset" tab, you shouldn't have a problem.
As for the BT disconnecting, I can't say I've seen that problem. If more than 1 person is having a problem with the Prius, then it may be the system in that car. I have Acura's HandsFreeLink in my TL and I haven't been disconnected once.
