POSSIBLE FIX?

anyone want to test this? if you go to the registry

HKLM\software\microsoft\bluetooth\device

you should see a variety of numbers that are specific to each device. if you click on the numbers there should be a value called "name" that will identiy the device. drill down to the key that says "services" and you will see another series of keys with numbers. each of these keys represent services avaialble to the device.

go to the key that says name=handsfree

modify Enabled=1 for all handfree devices

im too lazy to go out to my car, but when i did this and i went into BT devices it showed that BT handsfree was enabled for my bmw and plantronics hs whereas it used to be one of the other. i placed a call on my plantronics hs and then went back to check the BT settings and both the bmw and plantronics are sitll enabled.

ill check tomorrow morning to confirm if this fixes the problem.
