Ok so I followed the directions above basically, listing it below:

1. Install threaded SMS (cody version) normally.
2. Go to and delete the following registry key: (entire PC10 folder)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\PushRouter\Registrations\PC10

3. Go to the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\PushRouter\Registrations\ByGenericId\

Click on the first key (it should be a long alphanumeric number) then go into the GenId key inside of that and copy its value.

4. Go to and change the following registry string:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\PushRouter\Registrations\ByCTAndAppId\application/vnd.wap.mms-message\Default

You will change the value of Default = to whatever your GenId value was, that you copied.

5. Then make sure threaded sms & stock mms are not running and do a soft reset afterward.

Should work just fine, getting all notifications just fine now and sms & mms are working fine.
