First soft reset with the small red hole on the left side of the keyboard.

See if that works. If it comes up and says "Unlock" on the left soft key, then it's locked and you have to press the left soft key and then * to get it to unlock.

If that doesn't work, you will need to fall back to a hard reset and try from there, and if it still doesn't work, call for a Warranty Claim.
