UPDATE - I have to say I never truly knew what customer service was until I switched to Alltel. I'm used to hostage negotation like tactics with VZW Customer Service so when my phone wasn't working I stormed into the Store and demanded to speak to a manger. They said "Whats your problem Sir" and I said "This phones a piece of ...... " they said "No problem, what would you like to do to resolve this" and I told them I wanted a different phone. No problem... Walked out with a new phone that same day, no games, no "Let me talk to my supervisor" or we'll mail you a phone you don't want and you still have to pay for it. Didn't even have to extend my contract. Thats service! Even when I move back to NY a non-Alltel service area, I will keep their service because its that good.
