I760 First Impressions
Ok. Went into a Verizon store and asked if they had the I760 dummy phone. She goes to the back and brings me out the phone.
First Impressions:
I cannot believe that I wasted so much of my time in this forum. The i760 is NOT an Iphone killer period. If anyone thinks that it is then you are lying to yourself. What I was disappointed with the most was how the phone looked. This phone has very plain looks that will never get turned heads. The i730 is actually a much better looking phone but it is just too big. As far as software, it has the same tweaked buggy Windows Mobile operating system that most other new pda phones will have or already have. There will be no surprises in the software, except for the surprises that we may receive when we find out about all the features that Verizon crippled.
Even the Verizon employee that handed me the phone admitted that this phone is just plain and is far from an Iphone killer. I will probably have to say goodbye to this forum because I am going to be waiting for the 6800 to come out or will be switching carries. There will probably be people out there that will just love this phone when it comes out. My point is that this phone is definitely not worth the attention and the anticipation that it has been receiving. It’s just an okay plain Samsung phone with last year’s features. I hope this is not the best that Verizon can do. Verizon, you are NOT hiding a diamond here but rather expired milk that should have been drank three months ago. I hope nobody is offended by my post. I am just very disappointed and upset.
