Sure you don't have that backwards?

The fine one will have very little RANGE on volume control.
The coard one will have a wider range.

The Max volume is the same on both.

If your bootup setting in the registry is not set to MAX then you will notice the coarse boots up with a lower volume because it's a larger step(s) down from the max. The default is VOL4 (one notch down).

I was running the fine one (which I really like in practice it's doing just what I hoped) and I just downloaded coarse one to verify it's ok and seems fine.

For reference the fine one runs about from 1/2 step below to 1.5 steps above (on the original sprint scale) the max volume of original sprint one spread over 6 steps.
