Back on track though, when you say the 14th or 16th for a release date, are we talking about August? I believe I will have to jump to AT&T if that is the case (and if they offer a better deal). I'm not going to pay $1,000 for the phone, but I may pay $500.

SUPPOSEDLY it will be August around the 14th-16th...but who knows, as these guys keep pushing the date.
I've seen prices range for the phone, but 1000$ is the most I have seen yet.
At popularelec.com they're selling it for 1000$ without a contract unlocked so that's why I think it's so much. Full retail for most of these devices when they come out is crazy like this. The i730 I think was somewhere around this price when it first came out was it not? I used to have tons of links for the device and a wide variety of prices I found from doing yahoo searches but when I formatted and tried to reload my old bookmarks from Firefox many of the bookmarks didn't carry over for some reason.
If you do a search I believe you can find it even lower than $500 like between $120-$300 but I had no evidence they were reliable or legitimate at all. With the Popular electronics store they list an address, with the BBB (which i don't think tells me that much), and I know people in Chicago that live around there that could check it out for me. |
