1. this is bulk packaging, ie you save money.

2. Get a card reader that supports sd hc. "secure digital / high capacity". If it does not support hc then your card reader will not work.

3. The serial number on the micro sd card is a batch number, not an individule one.

4. Nextweb, and others have already contacted sandisk and confirmed that these are legit cards.

5. Different series of cards have different logo's on the front.

6. I forget what six is for.

Nope, I read the whole thread but the font of the logo being wrong wasn't something I had picked up on before... it was most noticable on the red/blue adapter. Companies the size of Sandisk spend a lot of money on a brand, so to get sloppy with their copyright protected logo is not only foolish, but it would serve to dilute the value of the logo. That is why I found it hard to believe that a genuine product would have a poorly done logo that looked hacked... especially with a product that has been so heavily pirated. Someone's head should roll at Sandisk for letting a product this poorly labeled make it out of the factory.

However, this also differs from the card that was shipped with the device (it has a 'Play button' logo, but it is dropped below the Sandisk name and there is another logo just to the right of it).
Thanks... that is what I was looking for. If they are in Verizon stores this way in Verizon packaging, then I would say that I for one will trust that they are genuine.

And thank you for taking the time to post here. I am the founder of PDAPhoneHome and just want to make sure everyone here is getting the most accurate information. These are a good group of people and I don't want to see anyone get hurt. Given that you have a lot of potential customers here, if you'd like to potentially setup a group buy or discount for the community, let me know. I think that most Mogul owners are going to be wanting 4GB microSD cards.
