Greetings eveyone!

On two different computers with vista once I reboot the phone to emergency mode pdalite can no longer communicate with the modem as it goes away in device manager. On my XP box pdalite gets the assertion errors others have talked about and I can't load the img file.

I rarely tethered as in modem for laptop but what I did do was dial (direct from pda) into my works RAS# and get corperate email with OMA and dial MSN dialup for internet.

I did these things with my i700 but when I got my i730 last thursday it already had the new FW and I was hosed.

Please confirm the new FW disables both applications one and the same. I also suppose a data block on my service on my account would not restore any of these functions for me.

Thanks for any suggestions you might have and efforts for those coming up with these solutions / workarounds.
