I don't think that's the way it works anymore. I have a PAM plan ($40 unlimited usage) on a Sanyo 7500 that I have turned on and off, depending on whether I'm traveling or not. (I use the 7500 instead of the 6700, even though I have to pay for PAM, because it works with my Kyocera router.) Anyway, when the plan is not activated (and regular Power Vision is) I can't tether at all - when it is activated the dialup #777 (or the router) works great. So I don't think Sprint allows "casual" tethering anymore on the phones that have a dual NAI system (unless it's a Samsung and the NAI can be disabled). - sheureka
