This can't be sprint's biggest concern. They still view this as a business phone, after all.

And yeah, sprint will keep my business as long as they keep giving away data. I don't care what the phone looks like as long as it gets me access to unlimited wireless data for $10-$15/mo. The 6700 does, the 6800 will. Both will beat the living crap out of the iPhone for wireless data access. Works for me, my guess it works for most folks on Sprint.
you have to realize that most users aren't buying service...they're buying a phone...or what they think is "cool". they sign up with a carrier because they saw a certain phone and will take whatever service that comes with it. just about everyone already has a mobile phone so the majority of customers companies are now seeking are the ones using other carriers. if sprint doesn't have a phone that can compete with the several phones att will have to offer this summer, they WILL lose a LOT of customers. sure they'll keep the people like you that understand and appreciate the advantages of sprint's data plan but i really don't believe that your type of customer is the majority...in fact i think it's just the opposite.

people like me that are suffering with a treo right now because sprint can't even replace a 6700 aren't going to hang around for very much longer. i can promise one way or another that i'll be rid of this pos treo by june 19th. if i have to say goodbye to my great data plan to do it...i'll be taking my business accounts with me.
