They need to at least announce the new phones before the iPhone comes out. The more I think about it the more I think waiting is foolish. If I were considering switching to at&t for the iPhone, the first thing I would do is check out Verizon's page to see what phones they are offering.

Unfortunately their current choices are pretty pitiful. If Verizon can't hold out at least the promise of future cool phones, it's only going to make people more likely to switch.
