I would really like some more info on the RNDIS solution. Can you point me somewhere that has some explaination. The phone not charging while being a modem is an annoying point. I noticed it the first time I connected it as a modem. Not having the phone in modem mode would also guarantee (I would think) that Cingular couldn't tell that is wasn't the device requesting the information.
