I apologize, I had forgotten the rumored pics show a qualcomm 7500 chipset and a 384mhz processor. however, all cpu processors are not created equal, and just because its rumored to be lower than the 6700s, doesn't mean it will run slower. amd and intel have long fooled us into believing the higher the mhz, the faster the processor, but nowadays higher doesn't necessarily mean faster.

regardless to what the processor is, whether its samsung 400 or qualcomm 7500 384mhz (a quick google on qualcomm 7500 has someong stating its there for rev a evdo speeds), I don't see HTC, with their first release on cdma networks, releasing a sub par handheld to kick in the door to them selling their own branded handhelds. almost every part of this 6800 has "upgrade" written on it, even if we don't want to buy/switch to microsds and proprietary headphones, including the battery, so I just can't believe in "downgrading" the processor. I'd love to see some comparisons of the 384mhz vs other processors (samsung, etc) but I'm guessng we won't until after the launch due to it seemingly only be included in rev a devices.
