In reading your most recent post of instructions (6 posts up), you included the information of "filtering" the calendar items BACK to the i730. That may be my problem. Without any Windows machine to filter the calendar items from (or just using my Wireless Sync data that is on the vzw website, and replacing the data on the phone...which I didn't do), it may have been impossible (?) for the calendar items to be correct...don't know.

The weird thing for me is that having now followed your specific instructions no less than 5 times, I have NEVER gotten a notification on my phone that DST has been updated. Maybe now that it is past March 11, it won't do so...don't know.

Yesterday, I dropped a cup of Starbuck's grande decaf sumatra on my phone...OOPS. Well, I went to the local store and picked up a new one (that my homeowners insurance is paying for)...and after I borrow a friend's PC I will load up wm5 and then will try the update again...with a brand-new unchanged device. Will see what happens.
