Here is a little tip for those that like to stay in touch. I found this on another BJ site and a different smartphone site. The company mail2web.com offers free accounts and they are exchange accounts. You can do what I do is register for the account and then forward your mail from your home computer (or you can have their aggregator grab it for you but only once an hour) and then you can have true push mail to your device. I leave my home computer on all the time with outlook syncing constantly with the POP servers for my ISP and when e-mail comes in it is forwarded (set up forwarding rule in outlook to your mail2web account) and then the e-mail is pushed to your phone. This is a true push as they have supported exchange servers. It will sync your contacts, task, e-mail, and address books. Looks like a makeshift alternative to purchasing and setting up an exchange server on the hoome system, yet stil remaining connected and in touch when out and not burning through the battery with unnecessary timed checks or getting things late through manual checks.
Hope this may help seomone, and any other thoughts or suggestions are welcomed. SO far loving this device, but still missing some of the features of a full PPC but gettign the bugs and workarounds down.
