Okay, again for future readers -- I just moved to the Q, and week 1 mail worked perfect. Week 2 I switched providers, stayed with IMAP, and delete no longer worked -- all messages came back. After snooping the requests, the problem is that I did not have a folder named "Deleted Items" on the server -- since my new Courier IMAP provider sticks everything underneath the "Inbox" title.

That's the cause... the fix is to simply create the directory subscription from your PC NOT under Inbox... assuming you can create a folder at that level.

And this, BTW, is a Windows Mobile problem, not a Q specific problem.
