OK, I've read most of the threads on setting up direct push email on the PPC 6700. Here's what I did (and I think it's what most other people have done):

2) Setup a mail2web account / Exchange server for $1.95/month
3) I forward all Gmail to my mail2web account
4) I setup Activesync on PPC 6700 and Sync with the mail2web account

Here is the only problem that I am having. When I send outgoing mail from my PPC 6700 in pocket outlook, even though it has my Gmail address on it, it uses the mail2web outgoing mail server. This results in what I send out not being saved in my Gmail sent folder on Gmail.com.

With my previous BlackBerry email, all I had to do was go to MyTmobile.com and put in my Gmail email address and password. That was it and I had direct push email setup. I didn't have to setup an exchange server or do any forwarding from my Gmail account. More importantly, when I sent an email from my BlackBerry, it was saved in the Sent folder on my Gmail account.

I played around with the idea of just using the pocket outlook and setting it to check my Gmail every 1-minute. But that wouldn't be true push, and it's also very slow when the PPC 6700 is accessing a POP3 server. I've also had major problems with using the pocket Outlook and my Gmail account. My inbox messages would dissapear, and I would never see my sent messages. I also had problems with it filling up my internal memory, even while I had a 2gb memory card in. It did save the sent emails in my Gmail.com sent folder, but all those other problems drove me nuts!

What can I do about this?? I just need my outgoing sent emails to be saved in my Gmail.com sent folder (and I need direct push too).
