I did not apply any firmware upgrade or install any additional software, and my phone was able to read the 4GB SDHD mini card, oh and to be sure it was actually a 4GB card, i transferred 3.97Gb of information to it. Hope this information helps all of you looking for the ability to store more on your 6700. |
I tried this with a card 4gb Transcend SDHC card and still couldn't get my phone to recognize it (it locks up when inserted) so I don't think the card you have for your phone is actually SDHC. I bought the other card as grassroots computer (4gb NON-SDHC) and it works great. I wasted $70 on the SDHC card but if someone else is successful in getting a SDHC card to work with the PPC6700 let me know because I would love to not let that $70 go to waste. __________________
