My team contacted Verizon EDS about this. EDS seems to think that the problem will be handled automatically on 3/11 as soon as all devices complete time sync. Time syncs are done during a roaming profile update (*22899) or at other times when the device connects to the network. If this is true, I guess the device time would be correct even though the DST settings stored in the registry are incorrect. Question is: would not applying MS's registry settings have any other negative affect? We manage hundreds of WM devices in the field (including many i730s) so whether or not to deploy the CAB is a major decision. Thanks for a great forum.
