If this interests anyone, I bought a 4gb SD card off ebay (black samsung oem looking one). Well I stuck it in my xv6700 right away, didn't work or do anything. It came with a usb reader for it, as well as a converter to regular sd card size. So I put it together and stuck it in my pc. It was allready formatted fat32, but I reformatted it to fat32 default cluster size (slow format). Stuck it in my xv6700 and it worked!! Attempted to copy over tomtom map to it, watched a movie called click... still didn't finish copying... so canceled out, stuck it back in the usb reader, copied over the map and everything is good. Device seems slower with the card in it... but it works.

Seems to write just fine, but slow... 3seconds per mb. USA tomtom maps were 1.1gb should have took 55min to copy (crashed on 657mb file cline.dat; 146mb poi.dat transfered fine) copying mp3s to it working just fine. The usb reader for it, wrote that 1.1gb in 10min. I have not done any of the registry tweaks.
