Despite having the broadcom BT update for keyboards and high quality audio installed (on my XV6600 with camera and 2.07 ROM) I can create a profile for my HT820 stereo headset but not connect to the headset without an error. I have paired the headphones, and when I create a new profile/connection icon it examines the headphones to see that they have the right features and it makes the icon in BT manager. But, double clicking the icon to connect gives me an error dialog instead of connecting.
Same thing with my IOGear and Creative SE2300 A2DP headphone. None will connect with stereo profile. The IOGear and HT820 will connect using the headset profile for phone calls and works fine for calls, but I get a connection error if I try to use the A2DP profile (even if I don't have the headset profile connected, I even removed it to test things). The SE 2300 doesn't have a headset function.
Is it possible something messed up the drivers and that all I need to do is reinstall the Broadcom BT patch again? Does it cause problems running the patch more than once?
I know a hard reset will remove the patch, then I can reinstall, but I am not about to reinstall all my apps and data wihtout using my backup, which already has the Broadcom patch installed.
