Before going to do the soft reset, and after setting it to use as usb modem.. XP detects the driver just fine.. its after the reset into emergency mode that things go awry.
Has anyone run into this and know of a fix?
I'm out of ideas.
Thanks

Update: I managed to get it to downgrade, after i installed activesync beta 4.5;
Problem: So i've downgraded, my phone shows s:i730.2.6V.YH25 now, I'm assuming this is good... however, if I try to cradle the device (running Wm5), it does show up with the modem in device manager on XPsp2 (if i first switch the phone into "as the modem through USB")... but if i try to connect using #7772 and qnc,qnc, the phone doesnt respond.. the connection dialer errors out. If i goto device manager and select the modem there, and query it, it responds fine though.
I also cannot get it to connect via bluetooth, I've tried using btmodem on the pda, exposing the DUN, but when I try to check off the DUN in XP, I get a "parameter is incorrect" error message.
So neither BT DUN or USB DUN will work after downgrading.. I'm not sure what I've done wrong here...
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
