Well seeing that Verizon is sticking to their schedule that was posted, it would seem that the i760 might be coming. I have been calling my buddy ("Ethan" nicknamed here), and he won't pass along any information, but a "maybe". He's not working with the phone side of VZW any longer, and is in a more "management" role, so he's not always told, but I have a feeling he knows something. I will continue to call him on a weekly basis to ask though...

I of course am happy with my Samsung i730, and it's been a great device, dropped it a few times and it's held up, so the build quality is there, and I am more impressed with the build quality on Samsung devices than the HTC (6700, 6600). To me those things felt cheap.

I think I will be passing on the 6800 unless nothing arrives, or zero confirmations come about the i760. So here's to hoping the i760 does come to Verizon...
