I am willing to bet that was NOT an i760 you saw. One, he wouldn't have got it from his "cousin". The only people that would have it on Verizon would be internal Verizon people, and they keep track of their testing modules, and sign a non-disclosure agreement, and generally don't show it off.

Next group that has it are FUT (friendly user testing) people. They generally won't pass it on to their cousins either since they are testing the device for feedback to Verizon, and that testing is done right before the launch of the device, and we would probably have some more information about the phone.

I am willing to bet he called it an i760, when in fact it was another device. Mistaken identity. The i760 is drastically different from the i730 in looks and feel from all of the photos we have already seen. It would not come close to the i730, and you would tell if it was different. Look at the photos linked to at Giz, and you will see.
