You are correct. I have my phone in a sedio hoster clipped on the inside of my pocket. I know where the button is by heart so it works out nice for me. Sorry that it doesn't work out for you. I wish there was way to have this go automatically to BT without a push of a button. Actually I was wrong on this not working without pushing a button. If you open the gateway with the program as stated in this post by Stephen it will work without pushing an assigned button.BT Audio works. Solves Audio Gateway.

Right you are, bootheresa! As I noted in a previous post (seems like long ago but it was actually only yesterday), Blade's BTA program works perfectly. I can hear caller ID and announcements through my Plantronics 640 and also keep my MP3s and other audio streaming through it.
BT Audio has a little tray icon option so it can sit there for quick restarts and easily renewed audio gateway functionality when you use VC1.6 and break the connection.
It's an extra step and one that needs to be repeated whenever you or VC break the BT connection. But for now anyway, it and the 1.6 improvements seem to be about as good as it's going to get.

BTW, it works if you don't rename it as long as you list it in your start menu/programs folder.
