back in february i switched from a 500 to a non-palm phone. recently i've been getting the urge to go back to the 500, i have two questions though.

1. will sprint still activate it? from searching the forum i believe the answer is yes.

2. text messaging - i recall never being able to send any text messages from the i500. is it possible to do this and if so what program will i need to use? recently i've gotten a little spoiled on text messaging and that will probably be the deciding factor on reactivation.
