I don't know this for sure, just what I heard. I searched for the link, but couldn't find it. Someone said this when it was first reported that Sprint and Verizon "announced" that they had the device, in their hands, and were testing. It was a couple of months ago, and they said that Sprint only tested the 6700 for 3-4 months, so they thought this phone would be ready by that date. But this is NOT in any way "credible." Just someone's educated guess
