I'm looking to purchase this case but that lower corner problem seems to be quite an issue.

If you have had the case for any length of time and have positive comments about that corner or the scratches or lack therof I'd love to hear about it.

Sheureka: Dont know what type of material it's made of but do you think it would it be possible to cut out a hole for the IR w/o any dire effects? One good drill hole right in the middle should do it unless the material may unravel or weaken around the edges of the hole.

Seidio: Same question as Sheureka for Seidio... and additionally for Seidio why would they cover that up and/or is there a revision on the way? How did they miss an IR port when they designed this thing?
