Of course I had to go through all the troubleshooting BS like alway before they would send me one. I'm crossing my fingers this will fix my A2DP stuttering issues. If not well I'll call them and keep getting new phones until they send me a working one.
I'll post an update once i get the new phone.

xts, I'm really interested in hearing about how replacing your phone comes out. I think the concensus on the board is that it's a lottery. Some phones work great, and some just won't. My xv6700 and Jabra BT620s worked for a while after a hard-reset, but gave up clean A2DP after I'd installed most of my normal programs.
It didn't work that well anyway. With my phone clipped to my left side the signal would cut in & out. I could get a even signal when I held the phone out in front of me. Which kind of negates the benefit of "handsfree." Not to mention having to go in to the bluetooth settings every time to tap & hold & choose "Set as Wireless Stereo" even if all that had happened was a phone call or going into standby mode.
I'd like to make sure we are all on the same page by reminding everyone that we need to be clear in our terminology. I suggest we only use the term "stuttering" to describe the problem where the music does not play smoothly, but jumps backward in time (you can see the time elapsed/remaining jumping backward in the media player).
I believe there is also an issue with strength or reliability of the xv6700's bluetooth radio, since it seems to have trouble pushing signal three feet to a headset, even in normal headset/handsfree mode. Now it's true that a2dp, by design, is taxing the bandwidth of Bluetooth 1.2, leaving little available for resending packets (I am assuming BT works with a packet-based architecture similar to TCP/IP, but feel free to correct me if this is not the case). However, this problem is distinguished from stuttering in that the timer smoothly progresses, and the music picks up where it would be once the connection is reestablished.
So can we all agree there are two different issues people may have, and agree to the following vocabulary: "Stuttering" = Player Skipping and "Signal" = sound cuts out but music doesn't pause or backtrack? It would make debugging this thing much easier.
By the way, I'm looking in to installing a replacement bluetooth stack to clear up my stuttering issues.
