I've been extremely intrigued by this so called "wireless Hotsync" topic since coming across it yesterday. I have DSL service and have not been able to do a wireless hotsync no matter what I try. I set up an account at no-ip.com and haven't had any luck going that route either. (It's possible I don't have it configured properly though I've tried numerous settings.)
But I can indeed do a wireless hotsync using a dial-up connection. By entering the "temporary" ip address into the I500, it works like a charm. Why can't I get it to work using my DSL connection? I never heard of a router until reading this topic. Does a DSL connection use a router or something similar to prevent a wireless hotsync? Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
