I had the same issue and called UTStarcoma nd they told me it had to be a USB connection to update. I made sure I had ALL my data backedup (programs require a re-install aafter update anyway) then I did a hard reset before attempting the update. After a hard reset my xv6700(without any of my programs re-installed) would sync via USB no problem so it allowed me to do the update without a hitch.
Once I had all my programs restored and back to normal I cannot sync via USB anymore so it has to be related to a program I have installed, but at least I got the update completed. Now I sync via BT and I love it. |
